We are really looking forward to welcoming back The Pantaloons for Great Expectations, with their hilarious take on this classic story.
“My father's family name being Pirrip, and my Christian name Philip, my infant tongue could make of both names nothing longer or more explicit than Pip. So, I called myself Pip, and came to be called Pip.”
The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons proudly present an affectionately anarchic adaptation of Charles Dickens' captivating coming-of-age chronicle.
Join Pip the orphan on a journey through his eventful life via hilarious turns and tragic twists; filled with escaped convicts, eccentric spinsters, mysterious benefactors and gut-wrenching heartbreak.
If you've seen The Pantaloons before you know how funny they are, if you haven't you really should experience them!
You are welcome to bring a picnic, but you can also enjoy food from Deepdale Cafe (book in advance) or provisions from Deepdale Stores.
The performance will take place in the Brick Barn, a covered, but well ventilated performance space. We recommend wrapping up warm, as there is no heating in the barn.
Please bring your own chairs, or give a small donation to a local charity and use one of ours (60 available).
