Introduction to Green Woodworking Course

10am to 4pm
The ever-patient and encouraging Richard Rood teaches this one-day course, covering the basic skills of green woodworking.
This is a 1 day course introducing:
- Properties and handling of green wood
- Getting familiar with tools, the draw knife and the pole lathe
- Make and take home a selection of objects to use at home
All tools are
supplied by the instructor.
This course is suitable for complete beginners.
Please wear clothing suitable to work under cover but outdoors, ie multiple
layers.
Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the barn or courtyard. Hot drinks will be provided.
Max. 4 attendees. Venue well ventilated.

No accommodation is included with this course. We would recommend staying at Deepdale Camping & Rooms, which offers excellent self catering rooms and camping for tents, campervans & motorhomes.
The course & venue are not suitable for participants to bring their dogs or other pets.
